Unforgettable Family Memories

Pierce County, Nebraska is known for outdoor recreation. For families, this often means attending Little League games and basketball camp. People come from across the region to play sports in Pierce County.

Our two golf courses are well maintained and offer the benefit of playing the game on beautiful courses minutes from home. The Pierce County Community Golf Course hosts events like the Women’s Summer Scramble that are the perfect way to meet other golfers and make new friends. Each community has parks that have been updated and are bustling with children and families playing pickleball, basketball, tennis, soccer, baseball, out for a walk, or swimming. Osmond, for example, has a new $1.1 million outdoor pool that’s ideal for all ages to enjoy a summer day. Plainview and Hadar parks allow free camping, and both feature disc golf. Gilman Park in Pierce offers fishing, 1.2 mile paved trail and an Arboretum.
