Pierce County Economic Development is pleased to annouce a $215,000 USDA Rural Innovation Challenge Grant award. This award will be used to provide comprehensive and strategic planning documents for Pierce County and its individual communities. PCED has partnered with NENEDD, UNL Rural Prosperity and Norfolk Area Economic Development to also provide planning documents and the ECAP (Entreprenurial Community Activation Process) for Madison County, NE and its rural communities in an effort to elevate placemaking and economic development efforts across the region.

Plainview Economic Development Awarded $435,000
Nov 11 2020The City of Plainivew was awarded a $435,000 CDBG Block grant by the State of Nebraska Department of Economic Development for Downtown Revitalization Activities. These activities inlcude improving building conditions and facades. Work is exected to occur between January 2021 and December 2021.
